At FIREFLY Academy, we believe every child has the ability to become a confident and successful learner when given the right support, encouragement, and instruction. Founded by Bianca Jackson, an experienced elementary educator with a background in literacy & mathematical instruction, curriculum support, and youth counseling, FIREFLY Academy was created to help students build strong academic foundations while developing confidence in their abilities.

THE HEART BEHIND FIREFLY
Meet the Founder
Bianca Jackson is an elementary educator with over 10 years of experience supporting young learners through engaging, individualized instruction. Throughout her teaching career, she has provided K–2 classroom instruction and Early Intervention Program (EIP) support, helping students strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and overcome academic challenges. Her professional background also includes behavioral health counseling, where she worked with youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
